How It Can Affect Walking
Foot drop means difficulty lifting the front of the foot and toes. It can change the way you walk and has several possible causes, including nerve, muscle, brain or spinal problems.
Where Support May Be Useful
LifeGlider may offer body support if you can step, but it does not actively lift your foot. Consider whether your usual way of clearing the ground works comfortably within the frame and alongside any prescribed brace.
This is a practical explanation of the design's potential relevance. It is not a claim that LifeGlider treats the cause of these symptoms or is proven effective for every person with these difficulties.
Start With A Useful Goal
- Checking clearance with your usual footwear or orthosis.
- A level route without unexpected obstacles.
Tell us what you would like to do, which parts feel difficult and what equipment you currently use. We can explain the frame and show how its features work.
What To Consider
The harness and perching seat do not replace an ankle-foot orthosis or other foot-drop treatment. Difficulty lifting your foot should be discussed with a GP. Check thresholds and turning space rather than assuming a supportive frame prevents trips.
